SOSMA Male Brass 1W RF Matched Load Termination
From test and measurement to military and aerospace, RF terminals/RF loads are essential components that run through the RF signal chain. In essence, RF loads and terminals describe the same type of components, that is, passive components that absorb RF energy at the terminals of the signal chain branches. In most applications, The load impedance of the RF terminal is the same AS the intrinsic impedance of the transmission line used for interconnection between the terminal and upstream components/equipment. In this way, an open-ended or unused port, such as an unwanted forward or reverse port in a directional coupler, can be terminated to prevent unwanted reflected signals from returning from the termination and affecting upstream signal chain components.
